The Platformer (Beta)

★★★★★ Honestly don't know if this game is still in development but if it is keep going there is definitely a lot of potential there. That being said there's a few things that could be tidied up. The player character is great looking his animations except for the jump animation are brilliant. That being said he looks out of proportion with the rest of the game. The movement is for the most part solid but when you jump all weight just goes and you can soar through the air, something that can be a pain when you're trying to get to a certain platform. Traps are all good, textures could be varied especially between each dungeon, everything just blends together after a while. The pickup animation is good but the experience would be more fluid if pickups were picked up automatically. Controls are fine for a mobile game I would just suggest switching the big arrows for something a little smaller and neater. I came across a couple of chests and honestly couldn't figure out what to do with them and finally the life bar really needs to be more visible. I didn't even realise I was losing health until I was dead. Overall you can really see how this game was inspired by POP which is pretty spot on I must say. Would love to see how this game turns out further into the beta.
