Change is hard! The Salt Lake Tribune has been trying to innovate for years with a series of often mediocre digital platforms which came under evolving leadership and ownership. But they kept at it and have finally landed on a smooth modern format where the user experience is like a traditional paper but the transitions and interface are beautifully modern. It's great to have my Trib first thing in the morning, especially when away from home. But I don't like or want this new app. At my age (81) I like simplicity. The old edition was nice and simple.

Update for v3 of the app: I'm about to cancel my subscription. Thanks for fixing everything I had issues with before, but I was finally getting used to it, and you added more problems! No attribution at the bottom of half the articles, so I don't know when I've finished. There's no link to continue if the article ends on a different page. Sometimes the attribution shows up at the end of the first half, and I think I'm finished. It shouldn't be this frustrating to read the news!

I have not been able to read the paper with the new app ! No one answers the phone. E-mail edition now goes to clutter file instead of my Inbox.

This app is complete garbage. I subscribe to the tribe because I want to support and read local news, but this app is unusable. Strongly considering cancelling my subscription due to this.

THE TRIBUNE HAS RUINED ITS ORGANIZATION WITH ITS RIDICULOUS APP. BIG BANNER ACROSS THE TOP THAT NEVER GOES AWAY. IMAGINE READING THE PAPER IN A COFFEE SHOP AND SOMEONE STANDS BEHIND YOU FLASHING SIGNS AT YOU! IT'S PATHETIC! SALT LAKE CITY NEEDS A REAL Newspaper AGAIN. Salt Lake Tribune. YOU SUCK!!!!!!!
