I liked the third person narrative quite a lot, actually. The story was interesting and engaging. Grammar and sentence structure leaves a bit to be desired.

I actually purchased this book. This story is hard to follow. It was difficult to know what was happening with how much the narrative jumps around. Not enough character development. The plot is decent but the implementation leaves something to be desired. If you fail a stat check the game just ends and it ends badly. There is a story here but with frustrating stats, confusing language, and a storyline that jumps around It's hard to comprehend.

Not to be mean, but the Mary Sue protagonist kind of seems to be a running theme with this author. It's so weird when random people call the MC "dear one" when they've never even met her before. It just seems that all the author's games have that one female MC where every character's reaction to them is, "I don't know you, but I can tell just by looking at you that you are a kind, heroic and all around perfect person." I personally find it really off-putting. Love, trust and friendship are things the MC should earn, not just be given automatically because for some reason everybody thinks you're female Jesus.
