I don't know why people would hate this; probably because it is something foreign to the usual CYOA format, the bad writing, or maybe I'm just this illiterate,I just want to say, give this a chance. I actually spent time to immerse myself in the game's rich narrative-It's enigmatic, thrilling, and gives you a glimpse of lovecraftian horror. The game is an interesting experiment that deviates from the usual content we get from hosted games which makes it even more special. All in all a good read.

Feels like studying. Like hopping around Wikipedia, but none of the "articles" (reports, interviews etc) are of interest. Characters don't come to life ... No sense of progress, just going in circles - that's the big flaw, I think: no story arc. No stats to improve, no feeling of getting closer to a solution. Like research for an assignment, but to feel like spending time on that kind of work I need to be motivated, and I'm not. Learn to engage your reader, in other words please learn to write.

Very dry writing. Honestly I couldn't even get through the research portion in the first chapter. Just pages of uneventful droning and uninteresting information about the "mission". Having it presented like a shot receiving an assignment might be a good idea but the execution was lacking. Hard pass on this title for me

I get it I bought a game that's gameplay is reading. I also thought I bought an interactive story to waste a bit of time with. I did 2 of the things I've mentioned. Try to guess which ones.

You should not have included the chapter 1 research stuff. Like seriously? Can players remember every info on that page? Would have been better if there is only a short briefing in thr beginning and you should distribute all of that research stuff to other chapters or atleast remove some of it.
