It works very well with headphones, but I need auto volume that can handle the rigors of life. I usually dont have headphones plugged in, I drive while playing music ovet bluetooth. Most importantly, an auto volume app needs to be capable of recognizing the phone's own sounds and filtering them out of the equation. It works as intended with headphones but not with my life in general.

Decent start; but is missing several key bits of funtionality: - No obvious option to run as a daemon (autostart system service). - No ability to control the association between max/min device volumes and noise levels. Should be a two parameter preference. - No ability to select frequency(s) of interest. This is important for those who wish to hear voices primarily or music primarily. - No ability to select FFT window length, averaging mechanism

Only works with hard-wired headphones? I'm trying to get this to work with an external BT speaker and it's 100% useless. When I tap the "Auto Volume" button, it turns orange and I get a message ""Auto Volume is working when headphones are connected". The "Sensitivity" adjustment is not showing, and noise doesn't seem to be measured. When I try it with BT headphones, the "Sensitivity" adjustment is still not showing, and the app still isn't doing anything useful. In theory, this is almost exactly what I need. In practice, it's completely useless.

Some songs are louder and some songs are barely loud enough.. It should auto level all songs to the same decibel loudness.. Thats what I needed.
