Comments on The Yorkshire Post Newspaper for Android

★★★★★ Brian Kale · Dec 30, 2023

The Yorkshire Post is a first class regional morning newspaper, covering plenty of Yorkshire news, national and international. The reporters and photographers provide excellent stories and information.

★★★★★ Richard C · Mar 29, 2026

Love reading the newspaper in its print version - you get a much better perspective on the news. Also, some great features. The app works well on phone and tablet.

★★★★☆ A Google User · May 4, 2013

Just doesn't work. Simply does not work! Loading screen opens - and articles clearly loading behind - but cannot access. Just want to uninstall - but now anxious that will be charged for an app I can't even get into to cancel.

Honest and Reliable news for Yorkshire. #Yorkshire #HU1 Once flu season is over, the East Riding will have honest journalism again.

19April2022: Finally the next edition downloads of its own accord rather than me having to leave app open for ages. Fixed but I now have to sign out and back in as there isn't a refresh option. Oh dear, yet another update to "improve" the paper. It's Sunday and Saturdays paper & supplements aren't available. Tried uninstalling and re-installing. Got a message "experiencing technical issues ".

Crashed already I bought this to check up on an advert I had put in the country week section. Even though l have a large tablet the paper is not good to read without a lot of enlarging, if you change page it goes back to small print. To cap it all the country week section was not available on a saturday, l have had to wait until monday. When I tried to view the YP on monday app would not download the paper. Only subscribed to the paper on friday to see my advert. Not happy when I've paid all that money out for an advert and cannot view it on saturday, have to wait for the staff at YP to upload it on monday. Johnson press want a kick up the ****

Varying subscription prices that don't make sense and my online subscription did open the app version of the paper. I don't get it

★☆☆☆☆ Nigel Taylor · Jan 7, 2023

Doesn't refresh to the latest newspaper. You have to sign out and back in again to get the latest paper. Get this basic function working
