It does what it says. Yes, you do need a thermal camera you can plug into your device to use this app. The UI is good. It works as intended. Just plug the camera in, tap on the camera in the UI and see IR radiation. That's pretty much it. Rant: To anyone who complains about thermal cameras not working on certain objects (i.e. reflective surfaces): "That's just how they work." And those who complain about "inaccurate readings" are unable to understand that it's not the app, it's the camera.

Works well on Android 13, but not on Android 15. Video with audio works fine too. Good auto adaption to temperature changes. Emissivity presetting at 0.95 covers about 80% of duller (non-shiny) objects, but is useless for anything shiny. Users need to be aware of this, otherwise false readings will result. Picture in picture overlaid with built-in phone camera us useful. Good product at good price.

Unfortunately no longer supporting my camera. After updating to the Android 15 version my camera is useless.
