Description
Tic Battle is a tic-tac-toe game built around a 3×3 board, single-player rounds, timed turns, and session results.
You play as X. The computer opponent plays as O. Each round uses the standard rule: place three matching symbols in a row, column, or diagonal to win the round. If the board fills without a winning line, the round ends in a draw.
🎮 CORE GAMEPLAY
Tic Battle uses a familiar 3×3 grid with nine cells.
Rounds begin automatically during a session.
When it is your turn, tap an empty cell to place X.
After your move, the computer opponent places O.
The active turn is shown on screen, so the player can see when to move and when the opponent is responding.
A round can end in three ways:
• X makes a line • O makes a line • All cells fill and the round becomes a draw
After a round ends, the game pauses briefly and then starts the next round while keeping the session totals visible.
⏱️ TIMED TURNS
Each player turn includes a 10-second countdown.
A timer value and progress bar show how much time remains for the current move.
If the timer reaches zero before a cell is selected, Tic Battle places X on a random open cell so the round can continue.
The timer keeps the round moving while the board and rules remain the same.
🤖 COMPUTER OPPONENT
Tic Battle includes a single-player computer opponent.
The opponent responds after the player places X.
The opponent can look for a chance to complete its own line, block a player line when needed, and choose positions such as the center or corners when available.
The opponent uses O marks and follows the same 3×3 tic-tac-toe board rules.
📊 SESSION SCORING
Tic Battle tracks results across the current session.
During gameplay, the screen shows:
• Player wins as X • Opponent wins as O • Draw count • Current game number
These values update after each finished round.
The running totals remain visible while new rounds continue.
This makes the session score easy to follow without opening a separate screen during play.
🏁 END SESSION
The End Session button opens the session summary.
The Session Results screen shows:
• Your Wins • AI Wins • Draws • Total Games played • Session Duration
Session Duration is shown in minutes and seconds.
The summary also shows a session verdict based on the number of wins in the session.
If the player has more wins, the result shows that the player finished ahead.
If the opponent has more wins, the result shows that the opponent finished ahead.
If the win counts are equal, the result shows a tie.
Tap Play Again to start a fresh session with reset counters.
🎨 VISUAL STYLE
Tic Battle uses a dark gradient background with high-contrast board cells.
X and O symbols are bold and easy to read.
Purple accent highlights appear on buttons and key labels.
Turn text, timer values, and score lines are placed for quick reading during play.
The grid remains centered and large enough for touch input on phone screens.
📱 TOUCH CONTROLS
Tic Battle uses tap controls only.
Tap an empty board cell to place X during the player turn.
Tap End Session to open the summary screen.
Tap Play Again on the results screen to begin a new session.
There are no swipe controls, drag gestures, keyboard inputs, online matches, rewards, levels, or extra board sizes.
🔄 SESSION FLOW
Tic Battle uses a direct session structure:
• Start a session • Play rounds on the 3×3 board • Track wins, opponent wins, draws, and game number • Use End Session to view the summary • Use Play Again to reset and start another session
Tic Battle focuses on classic 3×3 tic-tac-toe, X and O turns, a 10-second move timer, automatic random placement after timeout, running session totals, and a clear results screen.
