TickAI: Photo-Based Tick Information for Humans and Pets
Tick bite, insect bite, or a tick on your dog? TickAI helps you document suspicious areas, review visible image characteristics, and learn more about ticks, prevention, and possible warning signs.
Important medical note:
TickAI is for general information and documentation only. The app is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, cure, or disease prevention. The AI result is an informational image review based on visible characteristics only. If you need medical advice, have symptoms, are unsure after a bite, or notice changes around the affected area, please consult a doctor or qualified healthcare professional. For animals, please contact a veterinarian.

PHOTO-BASED IMAGE REVIEW
Take a photo of a suspicious area, tick, or bite mark and receive a general AI-supported review of visible characteristics. TickAI can help you document what you see, but it cannot confirm a tick species, diagnose an infection, or assess your personal medical condition.
PET MODE
TickAI can also be used to document suspicious areas on dogs, cats, and horses.
• Create a tick diary for each pet
• Save photos and notes separately
• Get general observation tips
• Learn when it may be useful to contact a veterinarian
• Keep documentation ready for a vet appointment
TICK INFORMATION AND PREVENTION
TickAI provides general educational information about ticks and tick-related topics such as Lyme disease, tick-borne encephalitis, prevention, observation, and when professional care may be needed.
The app does not determine whether you have Lyme disease, TBE, or any other medical condition.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Take a photo of the suspicious area or tick
2. Receive an informational AI-supported image review
3. Save photos, notes, and observations
4. Track visible changes over time
5. Export your documentation if you want to show it to a doctor or veterinarian
WHEN TO CONTACT A DOCTOR OR VETERINARIAN
Please seek medical advice if you feel unwell, are unsure after a tick bite, or notice symptoms such as fever, flu-like symptoms, growing redness, swelling, pain, severe headache, unusual tiredness, or other noticeable changes.
For pets, contact a veterinarian if your animal appears ill, has a fever, seems unusually tired, shows signs of pain, or if the affected area changes.

DEVICE AND CAMERA COMPATIBILITY
TickAI requires a smartphone or tablet with a working camera. Photo review depends on image quality, lighting, focus, camera resolution, and the visibility of the tick or affected area. Results may be limited if the image is blurry, too dark, too bright, or if the tick or affected area is not clearly visible.
PRIVACY
TickAI is designed with privacy in mind. You can save observations, photos, and notes in the app. Please read the privacy policy to learn what data is processed, stored, or shared depending on your device, app version, and selected features.
