Great service in most areas but support chat is lacking, waiting over 20 minutes for a response is not productive at all. The least you could offer is an estimated response time & whether you are dealing with more queries than usual, so that the customer is able to manage their own time effectively rather than waiting around wondering when their issue is going to be dealt with & should they focus on other business, would they miss any response. Reliable support is a benchmark for ratings.

Tide is the most pathetic bank we have dealt with. A minor customer objection, even over £5, can result in tens of thousands being frozen. Even after full evidence is provided and accepted, they delay reinstating the account for days, with no concern for supplier payments, business losses, or reputational damage. To make it worse, proper phone support is only available if you pay for it. They are not worth taking your business to, until you want to face financial losses and reputation lost.

The tide application has been crashing for over a week, locking all access to the business account. I cannot perform any business transactions and all solutions to this heavily rely on having access to the application, such as the ability to add a 'web' device. My support case has been open for a number of days and no resolution, or even a temporary solution is in sight.
