Tiger Out

Tiger Out is an offline-first pad-size workbench for mobile crane operators, lift directors, rigger leads, and site superintendents who must lock gross load, boom radius, outrigger count, and soil bearing into minimum pad area and recommended pad feet before the outriggers go down. Cold start opens a fullscreen pad-size card—not a notes list. Enter gross load and boom working radius, set outrigger count, and watch required pad area, side length, and ground pressure update live. A color pass/warn/fail strip checks pressure against the soil you chose and your safety factor so crews can size cribbing with one glance. Pick seed soil types—soft clay, stiff clay, loose sand, dense sand, gravel, or engineered fill—or edit allowable bearing in PSF or kPa. Match the calculated minimum against a commercial pad library from 3×3 through 8×8 ft (and metric mates) with clear fit badges. Save, edit, and delete named lift plans in local storage with load, radius, soil, pad choice, and notes. Compare two pad configs side by side for the same lift numbers. Toggle imperial and metric units (tons/lbs vs tonnes/kg, ft vs m, psf vs kPa); the choice is remembered. Seed example scenarios—residential HVAC set, steel beam pick, precast panel—preload the card so new users learn the flow fast. A method card explains the simplified bearing math and states clearly that these charts do not replace engineered lift plans. Share a plain-text locked plan summary for radio or toolbox handoff with no network required. Lift-plan math only: no valve tags, LOTO boards, or rebar tools—just the pad-size card that turns real lift numbers into stock pad recommendations before the boom swings.
