like a walkie-talkie of yesteryear works great! i use it to find my wife when we are shopping at the mall or outlets. only range restriction is wether or not you're in range of a cellphone tower. so word to the wise - if you cant make a regular cell call in the woods this wont work either. just saying. Also works over WiFi too.

Works reasonably well as a two-way walkie talkie. Volume is low even when set to maximum. Doesn't stay on top of other maps making it somewhat difficult to use when driving and using a mapping app.
