Description
The Tilt 2 app is the official app for TILT hydrometers. Use the app to log specific gravity and temperature data to the cloud such as Google Sheets or other custom cloud endpoint. We support brewfather.app, brewstat.us, monitor.log and Grainfather.com among others. (Visit their respective websites to get more information on setting up the app). You can also log directly to your phone or tablet and email a CSV to yourself or others. Note that when logging you will need to be within range of your Tilt or have a phone or tablet setup next to your fermentation vessel for automatic continuous logging. (Highly recommended!). You can also calibrate your Tilt and change units from degrees Fahrenheit to Celsius and from specific gravity (60°F/15.6°C) to degrees Plato.
Recent changes: Improved experience when using with Tilt Pico WiFi adapter. Various bug fixes and now ability to delete previous CSV logs.

Works well to read Tilt hydrometer. It would be nice if the app could track initial and target gravity, fermentation start and finish date, and so on. This data could be pasted into whatever doc the user is using to log their brewing efforts.

The tilt really is a great device but, as others have pointed out, the app interface is a bit clunky. It's pretty troublesome to set up a custom log, but the default works fine. Personally, I always log to my Brew father app and it works great. I also wish the tilt had a Wi-Fi antenna, so you don't need to leave a Bluetooth device next to it 24/7. My old phone has to sit plugged in on top of the fermentor, and the app occasionally closes while I'm at work. Overall, it's a game changer for brewing!

I love the tilt as a device. But for $140, I expect the app to work. Logging to your own Google sheet just doesn't work. Check reddit and brewing forums, lots of complaints. It makes the initial entry and then just doesn't update. Third party seems to work...it's logging at least. But despite the timer saying to provide data every 15 minutes, it's updating every 29. Janky app is janky.

Serious issues. Constantly enables and then disables Bluetooth. Cannot connect to cloud to log data. Data sheets in themselves are complicated to set up with scripts and copying URLs. Gets stuck in the chart page and cannot get back to the hydrometer readings. Just as bad on IOS. Great idea but needs a compete rework to make it function and user-friendly. Just wish one could download the app, put in your URL to save data and then off you go.
