I’ve been using it for a few months now. Many instructions are unclear. For example, Section 6 is about finger style and faster picking, but the individual chapters don’t specify whether an exercise should be played finger style or with a pick. Ear training is also confusing for a beginner. There are no clear instructions, either in text or video, about what exactly you’re supposed to learn or practice. Overall, it’s a good app, but the guidance needs to be much clearer.

it's a good app for sure it just sucke that you have a daily limit on what you can learn, but I'm fine with that, it makes me want to come back to learn more, so I get the marketing.

The app is like Duolingo for guitar. It's simplistic and extremely repetitive with basic single cord exercises that doesn't provide you with any realistic progress. Then it will hit you with "complicated" exercises that start exciting you, only to go back to the boring useless 1 cord exercises. Then there's the issue of the app not picking up on the sound. I know I play it correctly, but sometimes it doesn't register. No one can possibly learn this way. Find stuff at U-Tube instead for free.

I would've given this more stars, but I did not for these reasons 1 the thing that hears your guitar needs to be better due to it not hearing correctly I have played notes, and it thinks I played the wrong note which is VERY annoying and even more annoying and frustrating is when doing chords it most of the time does not hear every note you play wether you do the chord fast or slow it usually gets it wrong, so I have had to skip some chord training levels also the scale training needs to be nerfed
