Timbro

Timbro turns every museum visit into a personal collection of discoveries by letting you log artifacts like stamping a cultural passport. Simply open the app in any gallery and use the streamlined capture form to record the name of the artifact you have spotted, along with its gallery wing and the museum name. With a single tap, your find is saved as a beautifully rendered stamp impression on a cream passport page, complete with a tiny museum-inspired icon and the date curved around the edge. The dashboard greets you with two embossed gold-foil counters showing your total finds and the number of distinct galleries you have explored, offering an instant sense of progress. A quick action button on the dashboard lets you start a new entry in seconds, while a recent list shows your last three sightings for easy reference. Browse your entire collection in the finds tab, where every stamped card displays the object name, gallery location, and how long ago you recorded it. A built-in search bar helps you instantly locate a specific artifact by name, and you can filter the list by gallery or museum to revisit particular visits. In the collections tab, all your stamps are automatically grouped by museum, forming a visual grid that celebrates each cultural venue you have visited. Every find can be edited or deleted at any time, so your log stays accurate and purely yours. All your data is stored securely on your device, meaning you never need an account or an internet connection to use Timbro inside even the most network-shy museum galleries. The interface is designed as an open passport-style booklet with a deep navy cover and soft cream pages, while the bottom tab bar looks like a row of brass grommets along the spine, with the active one tied by a burgundy thread. There are no checkmarks, ticks, or to-do lists here, just the quiet satisfaction of building a stamped record of the treasures you have encountered. Whether you are on a family scavenger hunt, guiding kids through a gallery treasure quest, or methodically tracking artifacts as a cultural explorer, Timbro makes preserving those moments feel tactile and special.
