Description
Timecard Buddy is an overdressed form filling app with the express purpose of filling and submitting timecards without using paper.
The original scanned timecards for supported payroll companies are provided with an easy to use interface including Signature Pads and Autofill Templates.

The core functionality is still very useful at this stage, but users may look for features that have not yet been added. This is your chance to influence how this app is developed! Please email newendian@gmail.com with any comments, suggestions, or concerns. All final design decisions are at my discretion, but more heavily requested features will be considered more heavily.
Android versions below 5.0 do not support PDF generation. PNG files are exported instead.
What Timecard Buddy is not:
Timecard Buddy is not guaranteed to be accepted by your payroll department.
Timecard Buddy does not calculate times or provide statistics. With the exception of dates, only the fields you manually complete will be entered on the timecard.
Timecard Buddy is not secure. Here are its superficial security measures: - The resulting timecard image is flat (text and images can not be individually extracted from it). - Third party verification of the timecard is provided only by external services (such as your email client). - All data is handled on device with the exception of Google's automatic backup feature

Fantastic app but catastrophically crashes on opening every other week or so. Forcing me to reinstall and start from scratch. Really sucks when it happens on a Friday

A good start, but it needs work. Calculations often remain blank, which pretty much defeats the purpose. Also, it needs a way to indicate union or non-union. On most of the shows I work, the time card won't simply say "Crew Time Card" at the top. It will say "Union Time Card" on "Non-Union Time Card". Here in NY, they make a big deal about that. (Not sure about other states.) Production will usually make you redo it if you've inadvertently filled out the wrong one, so I'm not sure they'll accept a card that has neither label. Fix the calculations, add the union/non-union field, and you'll have a winner. Thanks.

At this point, I've watched the video and played with it and still can't
get it to do basic functions like to create a time card for a different show,
show a whole time card completed, send it to anyone. Waste of time and
energy.

Cumbersome After crew time on iOS stopped being able to spot out a filled out time card, I thought this might be nice. Then I tried it. It does not calculate any of the time information on my time card; in fact, this takes longer to use than filling out a time card on paper on set. Since my loader usually fills it out for me, the calculator part is what's important to me, and I'm disappointed that there isn't one
Each subscription will automatically renew 3 days before the expiration date for
the same time period. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the renewal.
