TinkerTaps: Toddler Music Play

One toddler app for the loud part of the day and the quiet part.

TinkerTaps is a music and sensory app for toddlers ages 1-4, with two sides. The Music side is 20 instruments for little hands: a toddler piano, xylophone, drums, guitars and more. The Sensory side is 21 calm, Montessori-style activities for winding down. Tap PLAY, choose a side, and hand it over.

THE MUSIC SIDE: 20 INSTRUMENTS FOR TODDLERS

FREE OF THE THINGS YOU ARE BRACED FOR
- No ads. Not one, not ever.
- No accounts, no email address, no data collection.
- No timers, no scores, no streaks. Nothing to lose and nothing to fail.
- No wrong notes to be told off for. They play, it sounds like music.
- Locks to landscape and supports Guided Access, so a small hand cannot wander into Settings.
- Every outside link and every purchase sits behind a parent gate a toddler cannot pass.
- No Wi-Fi needed. Everything works offline.

WHAT TODDLERS LEARN
Rhythm, pitch and the names of the notes. Fine motor control, and the pincer grip that later holds a pencil. Hand-eye coordination. Color and shape recognition. Cause and effect. And focus, the kind that comes from following one thing all the way through.
