Tinnitus Match: Ringing Relief

Ringing in your ears at 2 a.m. and nothing to cover it? Tinnitus Match is a sound therapy app for tinnitus relief. Build a sound that sits under the ringing and may help push it into the background, so you can fall asleep, focus, or just get an hour of quiet.

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
Most white noise and sleep sound apps give you a loop and a volume slider. Tinnitus Match is a real mixer built for sound masking. You dial in your own tinnitus pitch, stack the sounds that work for you, and save the result as a preset you can start with one tap tonight and every night after.

BUILD A SOUND THAT MATCHES YOUR TINNITUS
- Pure tones with sine, triangle, square and sawtooth waveforms
- White noise, pink noise and brown noise
- Notched noise (TMNMT) with a notch you can widen or narrow
- Bandpass noise for a narrow band around your pitch
- 10 nature sounds: rain, heavy rain, ocean, waterfall, wind, fireplace, forest, thunder, crickets and frogs
- Notch or bandpass filter any bed, including the rain and ocean sounds
- Type any frequency from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with 1 Hz precision, or nudge in 1, 10 and 100 Hz steps
- Stack as many layers as you like, each with its own volume, plus a master volume
- Separate layer stacks for your left and right ear, linked or independent

SLEEP SOUNDS THAT LAST ALL NIGHT
- Sleep timer from 5 minutes to 12 hours, with quick picks from 5 to 90 minutes
- Optional gentle fade to silence at the end
- Keeps playing with the screen locked, with lock-screen controls
- Pauses on its own for calls, alarms and when your headphones disconnect
- Sips battery: the audio engine goes fully idle while paused, muted or after the timer ends

START FAST WITH PRESETS
Around 60 built-in presets: broadband noise, nature beds, pure-tone matching, notched noise (TMNMT), beat presets from 4 to 40 Hz and layered mixes. Save your own tinnitus masking presets and they are ready every night.

AI PRESET BUILDER
Describe your tinnitus in plain words or use your saved profile, and the AI (powered by Gemini) proposes a full preset you can play and edit right away. Match, refine, or ask for something new. Included with a sign-in.

YOUR TINNITUS PROFILE
Save your pitch, the ear it lives in (left, right or both), its character (tonal, hissing, buzzing or pulsing), severity and notes. The profile is stored with your account so the AI and your presets follow you to any device.

HEARING CHECK
A 2-minute pure-tone hearing test across 7 frequencies that maps where you are less sensitive, so you know where to aim your sounds. A screener, not a medical test.

COMMUNITY
Browse and play presets other people with tinnitus have shared, no account needed. Sign in to like, comment, save any preset to your library, and publish your own. Report and block controls are built in. Tabs: New, Mine and Loved.

WORKS OFFLINE
Every sound is built into the app. The mixer, presets and sleep timer work with no connection. AI, community and sign-in need one.

PRIVACY
No ads. No analytics SDKs. No trackers. Nothing is sold. Firebase (Google) is used only for sign-in, syncing your profile and presets, and AI. You can delete your account and your data from the Profile screen at any time.

SAFE LISTENING
Keep the volume low enough to sit under your tinnitus, not over it, and take breaks. Loud or prolonged listening can harm your hearing.

Tinnitus Match is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for care from a doctor or audiologist. Sound therapy may help some people notice their tinnitus less over time; results vary. If your tinnitus is new, sudden, one-sided or pulsing, or comes with hearing loss or dizziness, please get it checked.

Works on phones and tablets. Sign in with Google or an email link when you want the AI, your profile, the hearing check and community sharing.
