Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) was formed on July 1, 1957 under section 54 of the Electricity (Supply) Act 1948 in the State of Tamil Nadu as a vertically integrated utility responsible for power generation, transmission and distribution.As per the provisions under the section 131 of the Electricity Act,2003 TNEB was restructured on 1.11.2010 into TNEB Limited; Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO); and Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited (TANTRANSCO). Further TANGEDCO has changed its business name to Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL) and is effect from June 27th 2024.

There should be a provision to send feedback when the power supply problem has been resolved before the visit, if any, by the eb people, to inform them that it has been resolved.

The issue is not resolved, even though, I raised my complaint, no response from the EB office. What the heck they are doing. I have raised 5 to 6 complaints on the same day, but no response till now after 2 months. They're not working on the problems. They're just keeping the complaint aside and watching us suffering from frequent and sudden power cuts. This is something our CM must take actions on. I hope this issue gets resolved as soon as possible.

Very worst app. Mairu mari irrupt yesterday I raised a complaint for higher bills athu enga da martingale. Today I came to check what is the status of complaint. App Sulla oru mairum illa. Not showing consumer and bill details. Most of the time it isn't working. Doesn't seems like a maintenance issue. Paid 2 bills. Not able to pay the third one, basically there is something wrong with the app
