I actually purchased this book. The beginning can be a little bit repetitive on consecutive walkthroughs, but the end has so many different branching paths with interesting endings. My favorite ending personally was when I became a Lich. So many different ways you can end this story. Excellent replayability.

Ehh. Not the best game, but definitely not the worst. Had consequences (can't remember that well, but I think there was a check that needed the Fly spell instead of Float?), my favorite path was obviously the Necromancy Path, not caring about ongoing threat and continuing to research necromancy was really cool.

It was okay. The concept is neat, but the character creation is almost more fun than the game itself. I dislike how you're a bit railroaded into a few of the endings and I wish there was more character interaction. It's a bit difficult to get a good ending. I played on Easy and still died several times. I also really dislike the unavoidable scenario of animal death.
