Getting better, I still don't understand that it doesn't work offline. The maps are downloaded on the phone, the location, which is coming from GPS. Their should still be a map and my position on the display. If I remember correctly, the information online when Tomtom was announced, it stated that it could be used offline. One last issue the last speech direction is far too late, about 15 seconds. I've gone past the junction before it's announced.

For free, it's good so far cv used once, and it showed all speed limits correctly and the cameras. In my area we have 50 mph speed limit used to be 60 the speed cameras for timezone still tell me on your app that it's 60 miles per hour

No longer trustworthy when it comes to speed cameras! By the time it warns you, you are almost on the camera! Previously, with Amigo you could set the distance warning parameters, but no longer!! Before, you could confirm by "voice" if a traffic camera was still present. Now you must physically interact with the app. An unnecessary and unsafe distraction from driving. The "Report" button is also too small to be of any use. Google Maps may be worth a try, or back to Waze me-thinks 🤔

From Good to Bad. No more overlay mode/speedometer mode. I used to used as a hud for a dedicated speedometer but can't do so as it's no longer available. I don't want to use maps every time especially if I know where I'm going but would appreciate speed information/traffic alerts.

Decent app however Amigo had distinct features which differentiated itself from Google Maps. Now with the tom-tom replacement app being buggy (e.g. not able to handle split screen or silencing speed alarm when music is playing in the background there is little reason why someone would use TomTom and Google Maps. The latter is also free, is supports dimmable split screen during navigation, and it has more reliable traffic and routing updates.
