This is an excellent app, but has some issues with the user interface. Some things like getting the app to see your tce pedal (USB) are tricky and iffy, because connections have to be done in a certain order ...then they work. Other reviewers said had to exit the app to get back to the menu, that's because tce in their wisdom have completely greyed out, to the point of invisibility, the selectable categories, they are there tho. Annoyed no tone prints for acoustic guitars, but phenomenal product.

Let me first say that for desktop computing, I'm a Linux user (Ubuntu mostly), and knew before buying a TC Electronic pedal (Hypergravity Mini Compressor) that they only had Windows and Mac versions for desktop. So I thought that I'd be depending 100% on this Android app to access my pedal's functionality. When my pedal arrived with no cables at all, I realized I needed a special adapter to be able to live-edit Tone Prints. So I picked an adapter, and figured I'd give the Windows version a shot through Wine while I waited for it. And to my surprise, the Windows desktop app ran great under Wine, allowing me to live-edit through the USB connection. [If interested, I used "Tone Print App Windows (32-bit) 4.5.8" and the default "wine-5.0 (Ubuntu 5.0-3ubuntu1)"]. Then, when my adapter came, I discovered I'd made a mistake. I'd tried to make a general solution by only buying a mini-USB adapter to be able to plug any existing phone data cable into. But that was a total fail. After some research, I realized you really do need what's known as an "OTG" adapter for your phone. Since I have a Google Pixel 4a phone with the standard USB-C port, I needed a "USB Type C Male to USB 3.0 Female OTG Cable". I picked one with the most and highest reviews (two for $9). And sure enough, instant success: My android can live-edit settings on my Hypergravity Mini Compressor pedal. Beyond that, I have no special complaints about the app: so far it does the job and has never threatened to crash. And for me, a stable app that does what I need easily and reliably means 5-stars. Btw, I realize most of my review has been about the adapter woes and the Linux process- but that's because reading a review like I've just written would have saved me hours of time and one mistaken adapter purchase. There simply was a sea of contradictory and wrong doom-and-gloom posts about both running the desktop app under Wine and getting the Android App to see the pedal through the USB. Hopefully this review saves someone else that journey.

Plethora X1 doesn't show up in the app after I connect with Bluetooth from Android version 14. It reads I'm connected via Bluetooth but doesn't show the build serial or model number on the connection page, as well as no px1 on the pedal page where I see the X3 and x5

Good on single pedals, not Plethora. I've used this app for over a year with 5 different tone print pedals, and it works pretty much flawlessly with them. Unfortunately I upgraded to a Plethora X5 and while I can connect to Bluetooth and see the boards stored on the app, rearranging or renaming them does nothing. It shows that it worked, but the changes don't take effect. Also, if you try to beam a tone print, nothing happens. It says successful, but it never actually goes on the pedal. I'm not alone

Unable to save my own user tone prints on the Flashback 2... It transfers the tone print just fine, and it's still there after changing modes, but as soon as I power off the pedal, it loses the user preset. Highly annoying and probably a software bug.
