Description
Tongits (also known as Tong-its or Tung-it) is a three-player knock rummy game that has become very popular in the Philippines. Both the name and the structure of the game suggest a relationship to the American game Tonk. Tong-Its appeared in the late 20th century and seems to be an extended version of Tonk, played with 12 card hands, and it shares strategic elements with Mahjong and Poker. The objective of Tongits is to empty your hand of all cards or minimize the total value of unmatched cards by forming card sets (melds, known as bahay, ba-ha, buo, or balay in different languages), discarding cards, and calling a draw. The player who either empties their hand first or has the lowest points when the central stack is depleted wins the game.

The game is fun and enjoyable. One suggestion I have is that after the game ends, it would be nice if players could see the remaining cards that were left in the draw pile. I don't mean showing them during the game only after the match is finished. I think this would make it more interesting to review the game and see what cards were left.

This game is ridiculously frustrating. The card distribution feels so manipulated and unfair. Even when you have a good hand or a chance to Chow, the game somehow always screws you over. I know the coins aren’t real money, but it’s still stressful and annoying when the game constantly feels rigged. I downloaded this to have fun, not to get pissed off every few minutes. Make the gameplay actually random and fair!

100% rigged. Most of the cards you need are in the opponent's decks. The player on the right will discard the cards you need, while the one on the left won’t discard the cards you need. Even when the deck itself is against you, you’ve basically made the players look stupid. We installed this game to have fun and relax, not to get stressed out! PAKYU!
