Restrictions for Android 8 and later Due to additional restrictions in Android OS 8 or later, Touch Protector can no longer disable the notification bar (top edge of the screen) and navigation bar (bottom edge of the screen). Therefore, Touch Protector will close the notification bar and navigation bar as soon as they are displayed to reduce accidental operation.

I love the app. It would be 5 stars if one thing were to happen. The situation in question is that I want the in-call screen to touch-lock even when the phone itself is locked (lock screen is on). Right now, with 'proximity covered locking' enabled and 'unlocking on phone calls' disabled, the touch-lock is triggered only when the phone screen is unlocked. I need it to trigger whether the phone is locked or not.

AMAZING! The only thing I would add is a clock on the lock screen. Remember, use the minimal buttons to trigger it. -for me, I use turn off -20 and turn on 30. Possibly I would go to 25, but that's not an option. -I use shake to turn on, but I don't use shake to turn off. -I love having vibration on, because you can feel when it locks. It works for "Hey Google" turned off because my phone does not "hey Google" when the phones locked, and that's what I wanted, and it works.

Doesn't work when screen is locked. I need an app to block the touchscreen whilst I am running, to stop it waking due to moisture on the screen. This app doesn't seem to stop the touchscreen whilst the phone is locked.

Spotty performance. Full screen doesn't always work until you toggle it back on and off. Even then, random touches turn it off (water droplets, when I'm swimming I leave it at the pool side while using a HIIT timer)
