Beyond just overlaying illustrations, it can also involve connecting two identical items with a line or selecting an illustration that matches a given sample. Furthermore, it's not just about matching illustrations; you can also match an apple illustration with the characters "り", "ん", and "ご", making it a tool for matching illustrations and characters. This can be adjusted based on the developmental stage of the child.

Reason for Creating the "Educational Trace and Match" App
I served as a teacher in a special support school (elementary division) for 15 years. Matching materials are beneficial for all students. However, preparing these materials, like creating prints, cutting, bagging the cut-outs, and making enough for all students, is time-consuming. That's why I thought of making it into an app. With the app, matching materials can be used easily anytime. Teachers can save a significant amount of time, focusing more on students. Also, students can adjust the difficulty level, enabling learning both at home and in school. This app aims to improve teacher efficiency and guarantee student education.

In education, hiding the object of attention is a common method to engage students. Instead of saying "Look here", hiding items naturally draws children's attention, fostering their intrinsic motivation. The target audience for this app is children from 0 to 6 years old. This app serves as an effective tool for children who face challenges in reading or writing hiragana. Before learning to write hiragana, developing pencil skills is essential. Even if a child can't hold a pencil, tracing on the screen can train their fingers, building foundational skills. This also nurtures cognitive decision-making. For children who find it challenging alone, interacting with guardians can enhance vocabulary and communication. Even for 0 or 1-year-olds, the simple cause-and-effect realized by touching or swiping the screen provides valuable insights.
