Trace - Routine & Progress

You already run the routine. trace keeps the record.

Supplements in the morning, skincare at night, the gym three days a week — and progress photos scattered through your camera roll at different angles, in different light. When you ask "did the last 12 weeks change anything?", the honest answer is you can't tell.

trace is a private routine tracker and progress photo diary. Define your stack, log it in one tap, capture aligned before-and-after photos, and read your own timeline — all of it on your phone, none of it on a server.

HOW IT WORKS
• Add what you take and do — supplements, topicals, routines, anything. Unlimited items, no caps.
• Log each item in one tap: taken, done, or skipped. Backdate when life happens.
• Capture progress photos against a ghost overlay of your last photo — same angle, same light, actually comparable.
• Check in with your weight and self-rated scores when you choose to. Optional, always skippable.
• Read your timeline: photos, adherence, and check-ins on one axis.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account. trace never asks for an email address.
• Local-first. Your photos and records stay on your phone. Nothing is uploaded, and no third-party SDK touches them.
• App-lock (biometric), a neutral alternate icon, and notifications that reveal nothing.
• Export everything (your photos plus a file of all your records) or delete everything, any time, at no charge. Your record is never held hostage.

WHAT TRACE DOES NOT DO
• No advice. trace never suggests what to take, how much, or how often. It records what you say you did.
• No scores. trace never rates your appearance. It shows you your own record and lets you judge.
• No streaks, no guilt, no cheering. Skipped days are just data.
• No quiz before you start, no countdown timers, no tricks.

WHY THE CORE IS FREE
Unlimited items, one-tap logging, aligned photo capture, the full timeline, before/after pairs, check-ins, app-lock, export and delete — free, with no ads. The supplement trackers in this category cap your items; the wellness apps hold your own data behind a quiz and a paywall. trace doesn't.

TRACE+ (OPTIONAL)
trace+ lines the record up for you: correlation overlays that chart your adherence against your own check-ins (and flag when more than one thing changed), the compare studio with side-by-side photo grids, per-item reminder cadences, formatted PDF progress reports, and multiple profiles. $4.99/month or $29.99/year ($2.50/month, billed annually), with a 7-day free trial on both plans. Cancel any time in two taps, and trace reminds you before every renewal. trace+ never gates the free core.

HONEST BY DESIGN
trace shows your records side by side; it can't tell you why something changed — and it says so. When more than one thing changed in the same period, trace flags it instead of drawing a tidy line.

trace is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it.

trace is a journal, not advice. It provides no medical, dosing, or treatment guidance. Talk to a qualified professional about anything you take.
