FOLLOW THE ROUTE

• View hop addresses, response times, hostnames and countries when available.
• Start quickly with shortcuts to popular public DNS servers.
• Choose a trace mode, UDP probe profile, maximum hop count and response timeout.
• Copy results or share reports in text, CSV or JSON format.
• Use a light theme, dark theme or your device’s appearance setting.
LIVE MTR AND HISTORY WITH PRO
Run repeated route checks with Live MTR to follow packet loss and latency over time. View the latest, average and highest response times, pause monitoring and share MTR statistics in CSV format.
Use trace history to revisit completed sessions, inspect saved hops and run a previous trace again. PRO unlocks Live MTR and history and removes ads with a one-time purchase.
FREE VERSION
Basic traceroute is available without purchasing PRO. The free version contains ads. Copying or sharing a trace report may require watching a rewarded ad.
UNDERSTAND THE RESULTS
TraceRoute checks routes to public internet destinations; local and private addresses cannot be used as targets. IPv6 requires support from your current network. Some routers filter or limit diagnostic replies, so a missing response or loss shown at one hop does not by itself prove a connection fault. Hostnames and country information may not be available for every hop.
