TrackDish: World SAT Finder

TrackDish: World SAT Finder

TrackDish is a practical satellite dish alignment and installer utility designed to help you set, save, and repeat dish antenna positions quickly. Using your phone’s compass and motion sensors, the app provides a live visual interface for dish alignment guidance.

Whether you are a professional installer, a satellite hobbyist, or an FTA satellite TV user, TrackDish gives you useful tools to manage C-Band and Ku-Band setups across India, Europe, USA, Russia, China, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Key Features

• Live Satellite Alignment: Use a compass-based positioner to align your dish direction with guidance for Azimuth, Elevation, and LNB Skew.

• Global Database: Find and align popular FTA satellites by orbital position, covering multiple regions worldwide.

• C-Band and Ku-Band Support: Add, select, and manage satellites for C-Band and Ku-Band dish configurations.

• Position Management: Save working dish positions including Azimuth, Elevation, and Skew, then recall them later to reset or verify alignment faster.

• Custom Satellites: Add your own satellite name, orbital position, region, and band details.

• Privacy-Friendly Sharing: Share dish configuration details such as satellite name, orbital position, azimuth, elevation, and LNB skew with clients, friends, or installers using a privacy-friendly link.

• Visual Aids: Use the camera-based positioner view for more visual dish alignment. If camera support is not available, the app can still show the positioner interface.

• Network Utility: Includes a built-in internet speed tester for ping, jitter, and network details.

Why Choose TrackDish?

TrackDish is more than just a satellite finder. It is a useful helper for dish installers, DTH users, FTA satellite TV users, and satellite hobbyists. By saving your alignment data, you can reduce setup time for repeat installations or maintenance checks.

Important Technical Note

This app requires a phone equipped with a Compass / Magnetometer sensor for live direction alignment. GPS is optional, but the app’s primary live alignment features rely on your device’s magnetic sensor. Alignment accuracy may depend on device calibration, local magnetic interference, location accuracy, and proper phone placement.
