Trading Calculators: Prop Firm

Trading Calculators does the arithmetic a trader does before every trade: how many contracts or lots, what the risk to reward really is, and how much drawdown buffer is left.

POSITION SIZE

Futures: type your balance, the risk percent you allow and your stop in points or ticks, and get the contracts to trade, plus the risk you actually carry once that count is floored. Thirty-five contracts in six sections (equity index, micro, energy, metals, currencies, crypto) are built in with their point values, plus a custom point value and quick chips for common account sizes.

Forex: fourteen pairs plus a custom one, eight account currencies, lots sized from your stop in pips. Cross pairs use one rate you type from your platform, so the app needs no price feed.

RISK AND REWARD

Long or short: risk points, reward points, the ratio and the expected return, from your risk amount, entry, stop and target.

TOOLS

Compound: a starting balance, a daily target percentage and a number of trading days, giving the final balance, profit and return.
Recovery: the gain needed to climb out of a drawdown (down 50 percent needs 100 percent back).
Breakeven: the ticks a futures trade has to move to cover its round-trip commission.
Margin: the margin an FX position needs at your leverage.

STOCK PROFIT AND AVERAGE DOWN

Profit and loss on a multi-leg position, by share count or total value, at any target sell price. Average down two ways: how many shares to buy to cut the gain you need to break even by a chosen amount, or how many to reach an average price you name.

PRO: THE PROP FIRM TRACKER

Track as many evaluation and funded accounts as you run. Presets for five popular futures prop firms plus a custom one fill in the account size, profit target, trailing drawdown and daily limit, all still editable, in all three drawdown styles (intraday, end of day, static) and both phases.

Per account: buffer to the drawdown floor, losing trades at your risk size before a blown account, progress to target, and the daily loss limit left. Before a trade, a pre-trade check shows what a stop-out does to both limits.

Across accounts: a portfolio card and a daily profit and loss log. Account equity moves with each trade you log, and the day rolls at 17:00 New York like the futures session. Reset an account to its starting balance when your firm resets your evaluation.

Trading Calculators Pro is a subscription, monthly or yearly, that unlocks the Prop Firm and daily trackers. It renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel, and you cancel in Google Play under Subscriptions, where the price for your country is shown before you confirm.
