It currently has the following configuration options: * Select which calendars to be used when showing events in the widget * Select colors for each calendar ( that shows up on the left of the row) * Change text and calendar indicator sizes
On Android 4.2 - 4.4 it's also possible to add the widget to your lock screen. (On 5.0 and later Google removed this functionality from Android)
Recent changes: Improvements in updating the widget and added account names to each calendar so that it's easier to see where the calendars come from.

Comments on Transparent Calendar Widget for Android
★★★★★Rajnish Kapur· Nov 7, 2025
This widget is highly recommended. It's simple to use, functions exactly as expected, and integrates seamlessly with Google Calendar.
★★★★☆Dustin Hall· Mar 21, 2025
Almost perfect. If I could completely remove the space between events it would be exactly what I need to replace my old agenda widget.
★★★★☆Valerii Vyshniak· Feb 3, 2025
Issue about all day items displayed on wrong day still not fixed as stated in change log - I still see birthdays and US holidays between the list of events for previous day 😕
★★☆☆☆Jay S· Nov 17, 2025
Looks good but new calendar entries are not updated, so you have to remove the widget and add it back so not really useful
★☆☆☆☆Mark Petersen· Feb 25, 2020
Doesn't work now. Was working great, but now it can't access my ms exchange calendar. 👎👎👎👎👎
★★☆☆☆Nathanael Forlorn· Mar 28, 2026
No support for tasks, few personalization options, start time not displayed. Easy to set up, no clutter design.
★★☆☆☆Charlie Ashwood· Jul 24, 2026
Looks really good. Unfortunately, it thinks it's 1 year ago - it's displaying calendar items from this date last year - which makes it functionally useless.
★☆☆☆☆Mahmood Albraim· Jun 11, 2022
Widget is cool, but the fact that you can't modify existing widget is really annoying. Whenever I want to add a calendar I have to add a new widget, again set included and excluded calendars, and again set label colors for each.
