I love this app! Just recently got into identifying trees, and this app helps so much with that. It breaks down the features of the tree parts in a top-down approach, helping you to narrow down the species gradually, and helping you learn which features to look out for in the process. Would 100% recommend if anyone is remotely interested in knowing more about the surrounding trees.

Very helpful to identify trees. 2 points to improve: first, add the categorization match to the tree information page e.g. X is palmate lobed, spiny, gray bark etc. It helps to add a learning curve since terms like spiny vs serrated are often a toss-up; second, the hierarchy of leaf then flower bark often leads to a bad match, a tabbed approach to collect information in the order the user sees it and then narrow down the tree might be better e.g. A flower is more unambiguous than a leaf

Asked so many questions and then showed a bunch of pics of trees that were too zoomed out to help us identify the tree! Will try again, but seems useless.

App was working fine, now crashes when trying to select tree identification features. No online account set up because frankly why.

Frankly, this app is unhelpful. And I am a Woodland Trust member! I am trying to check whether a tree in my garden is a wild cherry, and I have told the app, blossom in clusters and white. The app tells me "no further questions" and yet it is showing 28 possible trees. I find it difficult to believe that this app will be useful to anyone, no matter what their current level of expertise.

The descriptions are detailed, without jargon, and photos are good. However, I wanted to use the app to map my local trees, which doesn't work. For starters, the location defaults to Grant ham, Lincolnshire (perhaps the programmer's home?). If you then press the Find Location button it finds your location within about half a mile. Saving the tree location is similarly inaccurate. The iPhone version doesn't seem to have this problem!
