Trickle: A Warm Valley Puzzle

Trickle is a puzzle game about rain. A cloud sits at the top of a little wooden hillside and lets its rain go 1 drop at a time. The drops roll wherever the tracks take them, down to the plants at the bottom, and each plant needs a certain number of drops to bloom. If one gets too little it stays thirsty, and if it gets too much its bed overflows.

Before the rain starts, you flip gates, turn leaves and set water wheels so the water ends up in the right places. Then you tap Rain and see how it goes. A lot of the fun is in the near misses, when one stray drop goes somewhere you didn't expect and you have to work out why.

There are 6 worlds, from Windmill Meadow up to Storm Peak. Each one adds new pieces to play with, like padlocks, moss, ponds, levers and cisterns, and the Field Guide keeps track of how they all work.

There's a new garden at the Wishing Well every day, too. Monday's is gentle and Sunday's is tough. Miss a day and you can still go back for yesterday's.

If you get stuck, you can ask for an idea, which points you in the right direction without spoiling it, or for a hint that just shows you a move.

You can also make your own gardens in the Garden Builder and send them to friends. Anyone you share a garden with can play it for free.
