Triple Triad was initially played among soldiers, but spread to the common people and by the time of FFVIII's events, the game is extremely popular among all age groups.

its triple triad.. I loved it when I was a kid I like it now.

Basic play. If you win you cant select the cards you havnt turned over but the AI can! and will always take your best card turned or not. usually these are cards you have bought from the store after saving from wins. You then cant win your card back as the AI doesn't use it. Fix this!

Looks like triple triad, doesn't play quite like it. Unlike the FF8 minigame's standard rules, you start the game unable to see your opponent's hands. The opponent knows your hand (evident as to how it knows exactly which card to play). Not worth the grind. Doesn't feel like the original minigame at all. Play the game Forsaken by Cornucopia games instead. 100x better than this.
