Tris: Tic Tac Toe

Tris is tic-tac-toe, the Italian way.

Everybody already knows the rules, which is exactly the problem a good tic-tac-toe has to solve. The game is solved, so a perfect opponent is just a wall. Tris says so out loud.

A BOT WITH THREE HONEST TIERS
Snoozy daydreams and misses things. Crafty pays attention, mostly. Flawless never loses, ever, and the game tells you that before you pick it. Knowing the top tier can only be drawn turns a frustration into something you chose, and each tier is measured rather than guessed.

Two players, one phone. No account, no matchmaking, no waiting for a stranger.

SPARK AND PUFF, NOT X AND O
The two marks are mascots. Spark is the pointed amber star, Puff is the round teal blob, and they differ in shape as well as colour, so the board still reads if you cannot tell amber from teal.

BUILT TO BE LOOKED AT
A warm cream board by day and a properly dark one at night, chunky buttons, a winning line that strikes through as it lands.

Portrait, one hand, and a round takes about twenty seconds.

Tris is free, funded by a full screen ad between some rounds. There is nothing to buy, no subscription, and no account to create.

Recent changes:
We no longer interrupt the end of a game to ask about reminders. A small "Remind me tomorrow" line on the home screen does it instead, at most twice, a week apart.
Buttons have a little more breathing room.
Minor bug fixes and improvements.
