Description

This is the third version of the TTN Mapper Android app. Use this app to map coverage of The Things Network using the GPS receiver in your phone. A LoRa node that is being kept in close proximity of your phone transmits LoRaWAN messages to The Things Network. This app subscribes to TTN to receive these messages. The metadata that is associated with received messages contains the signal strength and quality of the message as received by one or many gateways. This metadata is paired with your phone's location and sent to TTN Mapper. There we use this signal strength and quality data, and the location where the observation is made to draw a heatmap of the coverage of The Things Network.

Very good. Only one niggle; crashes when logging into TTN so can't choose devices from the list. Easy enough to manually add them though. Otherwise, it's great.

It's a great app, and we've been using it extensively to provide evidence where we can use TTN Lorain networks. The permission to use location services all the time seems to have gone, so mapping is only possible if the screen stays on which really eats into battery life. Otherwise, all superb.

Worked well for a short while but just crashes now every time I try and connect to a device within the Things Network console. Very frustrating!

Not working. No gateways shown. Shows mqtt connected but no live traffic from my tracker. However, the tracking is normally shown via ttnmapper web page.
