Turf: Port Aurum

Port Aurum, 1931. Twelve crews, one city, ten days to take as much of it as you can hold.

Start with a corner of Little Palermo and a handful of thugs. Run jobs, hire muscle, take the blocks next to your turf and hold them against rival bosses who want the same streets. Every block you hold pays out and scores points. When the season ends, the boss with the most points runs the city.

TAKE THE CITY
• 64 blocks across four districts: numbers games, speakeasies, chop shops, docks, gambling dens and four landmarks
• Take blocks from street gangs and rival bosses, then post guards to keep them
• Raid a rival's headquarters and carry off the cash in their safe
• Hold a district's landmark and six of its blocks with your family, and everyone earns more there

• Upgrade your rackets for more income and tougher defenses
• Run jobs for cash and respect, master them for bonuses, and find rare gear like a Tommy gun or an armored sedan

JOIN A FAMILY
• Four families: Moretti, Vasquez, O'Malley and Novak
• Family members never hit each other's blocks, help cut each other's timers and control districts together

RULE CITY HALL
• Whoever holds City Hall passes a law for the whole city every day at noon
• City tax, curfew, police crackdown, liquor licenses, truce or open season

PUT OUT A CONTRACT
• Hire a hit squad to take a rival boss out of the picture
• They see it coming, so time it well, and buy police protection when one comes for you

A NEW CITY EVERY SEASON
• Every season is a new city with its own rule, like Prohibition or Election year, and a booming district
• Climb the leagues from Soldier to Capo, Underboss and Don
• Your level, gear, diamonds and wardrobe come with you; turf, crew and cash start fresh

PLAY YOUR WAY
• Quick training: three short rounds, about two minutes, then you pick your pace and your rivals
• Three game speeds: Standard (a city day takes an hour), Fast (ten minutes) or Blitz (two minutes)
