By Vin Vif Wines, from Google Play“Log every task you postpone and see the days it really cost you”
Description by Vin Vif Wines Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.
You keep a roster of tasks, the way you would in any list. The difference shows up the moment you need more time. Tap a row and its bounce panel opens: pick a defer chip to push the due date forward, add a reason tag for why, and that's it. The task takes on a bounce pip and a count of days lost, and your list stays honest about what happened instead of quietly swapping in a new date.
Over a few weeks those pips add up into something you can read. Every task carries its own history — how many times it has been postponed and how many days have drained away in the process. Tasks that go past their bounce budget get flagged as stuck, so the chronic avoidances separate themselves from the ordinary reschedules rather than hiding in the middle of a long list.
The report pulls it all together. Tasks are ranked by bounces and by days lost, which are two different leaderboards and often two different stories: one task has slipped eleven times by a day each, another has moved twice and cost you a month. Your reason tags are broken down so you can see which excuse you actually reach for most. And a closed-versus-bounced balance for the last two weeks gives you the plain ratio — how much you finished against how much you moved.
It's a simple shift in what a to-do list measures. Instead of showing only what's due next, Rosalva Bounce shows the shape of your postponing: which tasks you keep sliding, what you tell yourself when you slide them, and how much calendar time the habit has quietly consumed. Deferring stops being invisible, which tends to be the first step toward deferring less.
Use it for the work items that never quite reach the top, the errands that live permanently on next week, or the one personal project that has been three days away for half a year. Push the date when you need to — just leave a trace behind.
