ABOUT THE PROJECT
This app is part of Offline.Bible — a small effort to make Bible translations available wherever people go, especially where internet doesn't. The Tyndale New Testament (1526, revised 1534) is the first New Testament printed in English, translated directly from the Greek by William Tyndale. It set the wording and rhythm for English-language Scripture for centuries — much of the King James Version's New Testament is descended from it almost verbatim. Public domain.
Non-denominational. We just want people to be able to read.
Recent changes: What's new in 3.3.0:
• Visual refresh — redesigned drawer, modern row cards in Favorites/Notes/Bookmarks/History, and a new Daily Verse screen. • New "Follow system" theme that switches between day and night automatically. • Faster startup — the first chapter opens instantly. • Search rebuilt as a dedicated full-screen experience. • Serif typeface and tighter line spacing for verse text. • Tapping shared offline.bible links opens straight into the app. • Refreshed brand mark.

Changing punctuation does NOT improve the Bible and denies the Truth

Seriously 5 stars. It would be nice to have modern English, hint. But this is the complete New Testament. Well maybe less than 5 stars, IDK only because it's probably not the revised NT. I read congregation but still had ester or Easter. But really it functions well. Has no adds, can highlight, add notes, bookmarks and reminders. I copied and shared a verse. I should say it's old English. I have only read 2 chapters. Both chapters I have memorized, so it helped me figure it out.
★★☆☆☆
Meighan Dacey "Corrections" to the original text have been made!... E.g., in John 4:28&33, the words "woma" and "ma" have been changed to "woman" and "man"... The ORIGINAL "ma" and "woma" ARE CORRECT!... It was comman to leave off an 'n' like that. So, this ISN'T a Tyndale NT.
★★☆☆☆
Misspelled words through out very hart to read
