TypeBeat:Rate & Discover Music

TypeBeat Rate music. Share your taste. Connect with friends.

TypeBeat is for people who love music and want to do more than just listen. Rate albums and songs, write reviews, create lists, and see what your friends think, all in one place.

What you can do:

• Rate & Review — Give any album or song a score, add mood tags (nostalgic, energetic, chill...), and write your take on it

• Music Lists — Build custom lists like "Best of 2025" or "Sunday Chill." Save music to Listen Later so you never forget a recommendation

• Explore — Browse new releases, upcoming albums, and anniversary albums from music history. See what your friends just rated

• Genre Deep Dives — Tap any genre to explore its history, evolution timeline, iconic artists, essential songs, and subgenres. Navigate a visual Genre Map to discover how genres connect

• Artist Pages — View any artist's full career timeline, discography, stats, curiosities, and fan discussions. See how their sound evolved over the years

• Music IQ — Your personal music score that grows as you review, explore genres, create lists, and engage with the community. Climb tiers from Indie to Legend and compare with friends on the Leaderboard

• Your Profile — Your music identity in one place: reviews, ratings, lists, top albums, stats, and your Music IQ badge
