Typeshift is the modern anagram puzzle; re-imagined from the ground up, combining wordplay, modern game design, and a mobile-first approach.
In most anagram games, you search for new combinations within a single word, but in Typeshift, you search within three to five words stacked & scrambled up together.
Shift columns of letters up and down as you try to spell words in the center row. Play continues until you have used all letters in a puzzle at least once.
Special Clue Puzzles combine Crosswords with Anagrams as you match clever clues provided by Typeshift's various puzzle authors.

Superb word game, I play it every morning as part of my "warm up routine." However, the March 2 update has introduced some irritating bugs. When the game is solved, it no longer shows the core and additional words found nor your stats. On the stats tab, the general stats are blank. You're also unable to reenter the daily challenge after you solve it and exit in case you want to review the stats there.

I've hung onto this game for a while now (1Y+) and still enjoy it. It's challenging, fun, and non-addictive, with no ridiculous mini-addons to clutter up the screen. Definitely recommend for a fun word puzzle if you want to put in a few minutes daily.

Good puzzles, ads are pretty short and infrequent, can be disabled for less than $2 if you buy any puzzle pack.

Bought this as it was different from most word games, loved the free ones and bought a basic pack of further puzzles, however I'm having problems seeing the full set of clues as it won't all fit on my screen. I sent a developer query with screenshot and phone make/model but heard nothing back. The latest update has actually made things worse, and now I can't see the menu options at the bottom of the screen. Very disappointed.

Love the game play, HOWEVER can't get from level to the next bc the arrow that needs to be pressed at the bottom of the screen is cut off. Even emailed the developer and received no response. UNINSTALL.

UPDATE: Game freezes constantly. Basically cannot play. Very disappointing. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I enjoy this game immensely. I especially love the clue packs as I feel they add an extra puzzle element.
