Im still learning, but the idea is brilliant. My info is public to these tech giants anyway, fb n Google. UBDI can be my broker. These tech giants are sapping our data and selling it for billions. I like the idea of a broker between data, ads and corporations. Surveillance capitalism is a new market so be protected with UBDI.

Updated 08/21 UBDI & its kin can only survive if users download & support the model. Google announces it's doing away with cookies--in place, they're implementing a monopoly on data (seriously). As user privacy evolves toward the user, companies modeled more toward UBDI than are modeled toward Google will be far more impactful, not just to consumers, but societies. A macro view at ad revenue models should illustrate easily. I was ~#400 to download UBDI. It's been>2years. It's still loaded.

I can't link any data every time I do the app crashes

Update a year later, I still have the same comment. It takes quite some time to set this app up and link your social media accounts and answer questions. I did that over a month ago. The day I started, I took 3 surveys. Since then, I've had 1 survey given to me where it wanted to look at my bank records which I was not comfortable doing. 1 survey in well over a month, then having to go through the hoops to get paid is just not worth it. Un-linking all of my information then uninstalling.

UBDI is deleting your account and doesn't grant you access to it after all survey you do. Apparently they get the information and get you out.
