You have to log in through the regular UCCU app, and it doesn't automatically do so if you're already logged in. You gotta navigate to "card app" in the menu. All things considered though, it's well-designed and any option to turn off my cards at my own choosing is an excellent feature, and shows that UCCU goes above and beyond.

Before having the Card App, if I misplaced my wallet I had to cancel my card, wait to be sent a new one, and call everyone to whom I made automatic payments. Now I just turn off the card until I find my wallet, then turn it back on. SO EASY!

I was required to download this app to unsubscribe from emails. It is dependent on the banking app and wants too many permissions. It makes me want to find a new credit union. Assembling a spending profile without me requesting it, then grouping by location and product type is very intrusive. I now have to wonder what UCCU is doing with customer info in addition to trying to sell products such as life insurance.

Really poor app compared to another credit union I'm using. It can only tank one card, so to track my wife's card I have to log in as her. Why can't it track all the cards on the same account?

For some reason, this app randomly gives me notifications for credit card charges that happened months in the past (sometimes more than 6 months in the past) without showing me the dates. Really not helpful, and very scary to randomly get notifications for money I haven't spent recently. I'm sure the app itself is great, but it's not worth dealing with those notifications randomly every few months.
