Comments on UDOT Traffic for Android

★★★★★ David Smith North · Mar 19, 2025

This is the most accurate and up-to-date source for rural highway road and weather conditions. I depend on this app anytime I need to drive to the Wasatch Front from Eastern Utah or into WY and CO.

★★★★★ Wyatt Hanson · Nov 12, 2025

I have been more than happy with this app especially with how it was changed and updated to the version years ago. I really like the push notifications about delays especially on the freeway, so I can route around them or other road closures.

★★★★☆ Robert Jones · Oct 8, 2025

Thanks for fixing the major issues in the previous version - it was not usable. This new version appears to be a major improvement and appears to be very usable and friendly.

★★★★★ Ammon Campbell · Nov 26, 2025

Great for planning winter canyon driving. Pls add the Parley's canyon animal overpass

A pretty good app, as long as you set it up correctly. For one, sign in as a "guest" to avoid having to create an account. Then, turn off notifications (including voice notifications), and allow location services ONLY while you're using the app (not all the time). Force-stop the app after closing. This will save your battery. In addition, turn off most of the map layers to declutter the map. I use this app just to view webcams, and with most of the junk disabled, it works pretty well for this.

I like the old version of the Udot app. To Complicated to use. Go back to the old app, please.

★★☆☆☆ Jan Hoch · Jun 27, 2024

Used to be amazing, but now it is really messy and confusing. The camera icons cover up the road

★☆☆☆☆ bowen Allen · Sep 10, 2025

I shouldn't have to enable my location to check the traffic and cameras, go back to the old app.
