I have been using UDP Guard without issues until the most recent update. Unfortunately, the current version is plagued by severe stability problems on my Samsung device running Android 13. The app crashes immediately upon launch, and even when it manages to connect, the connection only lasts about two minutes before the app crashes again. This renders the app practically unusable. UDP Guard has gone from bad to worse. What was once a reliable and efficient VPN service has turned into a complete nightmare. The app doesn't even open anymore, and when it does, it crashes after a few minutes. The recent updates have introduced a plethora of bugs and stability issues that make it unusable. If you value your sanity and your online security, stay far, far away from UDP Guard. There are far better VPN services out there that actually work and don't leave you hanging.

Trust & Safety: UDP Guard requests a broad set of permissions typical for security/ connectivity apps, including internet access, network state, foreground services, storage access, camera, and ad/License related IDs. It also references a no-logs privacy claim in its long description. While this supports user privacy, the combination of permissions (e.g., READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, CAMERA, QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES, FOREGROUND_SERVICE) warrants careful review of data handling and consent. Users should assess how data is collected and used in practice.
