I then installed it to a 2nd device, and it worked really well. I got no false readings. What earned my high rating: the device it didn't work on opened up to a sensor test screen said to "press play and shake phone" when I did, it read the device did not have the hardware this app used, and to uninstall app!!! WOW!! NEVER SEEN AN APP SAY THAT!!! 👍

★★☆☆☆ Seems to just detect normal magnets, jumps up when placed near any type of magnet whether a microwave, speaker, magnet strip around fridge door. So one star am afraid as don't know the difference between an electronic magnet and a permanent magnet reply this works exactly the same of an app on here called magnetometer. Sorry but doesn't work like an electric magnet field very well unless the device if like 4 inches away from it, a real one would detect magnetic fields from further away
