As a Tech, and someone who used Kaspersky for years. I took it upon myself to test out the viability of UltraAV mobile app and Ultra Secure AV. Findings: 3 other mobile apps couldn't find the intentionally downloaded malware programs that UltraAV just found. Also, I put through the ringer Ultra Secure AV testing it out with 32,000 different malware and viruses. It picked up 31,788. Compared to other brands, one leading that failed to pick up more than 23,480. Conclusion? Kaspersky in disguise.

For the most part it works well, there have been a few issues but the support is decent enough to continue using the app. I think the app now optimizes the scans (Kaspersky) used to do that also, so only scans the most active files. However, many viruses now hide in unused apps, so I think it would be helpful if they did a FULL COMPREHENSIVE SCAN AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH!

This app quit working. Go to do a scan and the app updates the database, that's what it says, but it'll sit there all day and not update or rrun a scan.... miss Kaspersky

I was a Kaspersky user forever and had pre-paid to 2026 and had UAV forced on me. Even though UAV was paid for to 2026, I uninstalled it on all devices and paid for Norton. UAV is slow, has far fewer features than Kaspersky and poor support services. Please....do not waste your money. There are way better choices available.

Compared to Kaspersky, this UltraAV app is very stripped down and seems less than basic. I seriously don't know why UltraAV was chosen by Kaspersky to take over the internet protection of their US customers. It seems that all that you can do in this app is run a scan. You can't open your apps through this app or open a browser so that you can have that added security to do your banking or make any financial transactions on any purchases. I will not be renewing this cheap service.
