See what you get when you buy a product and decide yourself if you and your loved ones want to consume the ingredients it contains.
This app just uses your camera and works completely offline. Open it and see what you get.
Aim the camera onto the ingredients list and wait until the view freezes. Now you see with easy colour codes what the product actually contains.
Click on some ingredients to show more info. The colour codes and additional info are provided to help you deciding if you want to buy the product or not.

The ingredients of a product in the grocery store are not always healthy but may include harmful additives because the producer may use functional additives for different purposes.
The producer might use preservatives to allow longer storage in their warehouse. The product may also include colourants so that it looks more colourful or hides unwanted colours. Food and beverages can further contain other chemicals to make it easier to produce them or to give it certain properties like texture.
As a consumer it's often hard to uncover such components of a product and be well informed what he or she eats in the end. Eating harmful products can lead to sicknesses and feeling unwell so we better check what ingredients and e-numbers are printed on food and drinks to stay healthy and vital.
A good guidance is to favour organic produce and try to get as many natural, untreated products as possible.
