Absolutely phenomenal tower defense game. I have only seen ads when I intentionally tap the advertisement buttons for various rewards. This is one of the best mobile games in terms of free to play enjoyability, but there are packs that you're able to buy with irl currency, however nowhere near needed and decently cheap if you want to get a little boost.

Really enjoy the game but the guaranteed summons doesn't work for me. "Summon 10 to receive legendary tower" or whatever, pull 11 and get 11 common towers lol

This was a really fun game, and I think I'm going to keep it around. It has numerous optional ads for various in game boosts and rewards and even an ad reward system, but it seems like you can ignore those if you don't mind the grind. There are also several—SEVERAL—prompts to buy various season passes hero passes battle passes tower passes. It's pretty off-putting how hungry for my wallet they are. I thought about buying the ad skip option, but I don't think we should reward this kind of behavior

The art style is amazing. The gameplay is great. The microtransactions are ridiculous. Everything has a microtransaction. New hero? Buy this upgrade kit! New tower? You clearly want cards for it! Buy them now! Oh, and we'll make sure to put a red notification dot anywhere there's an ad, so you keep clicking on it! It's ridiculous. It ruins the entire game, and yeah, after a certain level it's entirely the good old illegal pay to win setup.
