Reading and inspecting are free forever, with no opening quota and no trial that runs out.
• Read PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, EPUB, MOBI, comics, images, audio, video, email, code, databases, fonts and certificates. Search, copy and read aloud.
• See what a file hides: hidden text, tracked changes, hidden sheets, macros, author details and photo location. Save a clean copy before you share it.
• PDF: fill forms, sign, highlight, draw, add notes and text boxes, and run OCR for a searchable copy. Scan paper to PDF or turn photos into one PDF.
• Saved passwords: protected PDFs and archives open straight away when you choose to remember a password.
• EPUB to PDF, PDF to EPUB and MOBI to EPUB keep chapters and pictures.
• Office: export Word, Excel and PowerPoint to PDF, and sheets to CSV.
• Photos: every single-image edit and conversion, including HEIC, WebP or PNG to JPG, resize, compress, metadata removal and background removal (automatic for plain backgrounds, by hand for the rest).

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No INTERNET permission means no uploads from the app, no telemetry, no analytics and no tracking SDKs.
• Share, Open with, Print, Read aloud and Android's file picker use the app or storage provider you choose. A cloud provider may sync files stored there under its own rules.
• Diagnostics and support emails are created only when you ask, and they leave out file contents, names and paths unless you attach a file.
• Interface languages: English, Latin American Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian and Turkish.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
• PDF and Office editing keeps every part you do not touch, but it is not desktop Office.
• PDF to Word keeps the text, not the layout. PDF to Excel takes one table at a time. PDF to PowerPoint makes each page a picture slide.
• Legacy XLS opens read-only. DOC and PPT convert to an editable copy.
• Multi-volume archives and DRM-protected ebooks do not open. CAB, DMG, LHA and LZH files are identified, not opened.
