Here's how it works:
Let's say you have to make a difficult decision — for example, whether to accept a job offer or to turn it down. Just type both actions into your Universe Splitter, and press the "Split Universe" button.
Universe Splitter will then, over the internet, activate a remote "Quantis" brand quantum device (made by id Quantique, and certified by the National Metrology Institute of Switzerland) which will send a single photon into a quantum "either/or" state. According to current scientific thinking, though, the photon will actually be in a "both, but in separate universes" state!
Within seconds, Universe Splitter will report to you which of those two universes you’re in, and by taking a different action in each, you will cause these previously identical universes to diverge.*

Super cool app. You have to kind of buy into it because it's a trust in the universal physics, but if you do, it becomes a very fun way to connect with the universe on your decisions.

Thanks for the recommendation, Dr. Carroll! Decision fatigue is an issue for me. I've had this app for a while, and I feel bad for not rating it. I once (only once) ran into an error, and I felt like LaPlace's daemon, I experienced all infinity in one faster-than-light flash. And then I had waffles instead of pancakes. I outsource my decisions to the quantum realm and the entire universe often. It's comforting to know that science AND weirdness guide my way in life. It's indispensable in my life.

This app has conditioned me so powerfully that I was able to put aside my anxiety (about grizzly bears) and go to sleep (while camping in the area with the most grizzly bears in the usa) by telling myself "There is a universe where I go to sleep, and it's this one," even though I didn't even have cell service to use the app! P.S. I did not even see a grizzly bear. Wrong universe for it, I guess. :(

The application gives one a cool high-tech way to make "either/or" decisions. The screens are well laid out and easy to understand. Performing the split includes changing lights and a bit of vibration that makes for a great simulation of a mechanical device. It also keeps track of you splits displaying a graphical chart of them.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Paid $1.99 for this app, and it doesn't even work on my Samsung Galaxy S9 Android phone! It loads up, and then the screen just goes completely black. You can click on things, but you can't tell what it is that you're clicking on, or what you're typing for! It's ridiculous cuz I was really looking forward to using this app after seeing it in a YouTube Video. I want an update to fix this or a refund! Can't do anything with a black screen!
